Ansar Oil Refinery (AOR) is a Medium Oil Refinery, which is designed and produced by Petrofac LLC, USA, Texas, and Model 2000. Petrofac is the largest producer of Oil Refinery in the world and this factory is designed to be very friendly to the environment. The total investment for this project is $15.53 Million which had been provided under the SAIL group from ASEMHOLDINGS Ltd. The Annual Turnover of AOR in 2019 was $21.43 Million however, there are no operation from during the 2020 & 2021 due to border close up and crude oil market down.

It is designed to be installed into the residence area with no risk of health, safety and environmental pollution under the production certificate of 41 – PK, L510. The factory is located in Herat Province and the annual capacity to produce up to 180,000 MT of Oil Products such as Turbine Oil (T1), Super Petrol (80 -92), Diesel (Euor 2-3) and Mazot. This factory has been already sold.
