The main objective from the establishment of this company is to engage in commercial enterprises, investment& establishing commercial, industrial and agricultural projects and development of projects, general trading activities and any other activities that may be conducted in according with the Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority Offshore Companies Regulations 2018, as amended from time to time. In fact this company is going to be an umbrella for all other companies which have been already established by the owner of Asem Holdings Limited.

The President & CEO of Asem Holdings Limited, Mr. Abdul Razaq Asem has instigated business operations in 2001 through the establishment of Road and Roof Construction Company (RRCC) in Afghanistan with very limited financial resources but pioneering vision. RRCC started as an international design and construction management company with a track record of success throughout the Afghanistan. For nearly 20 years, RRCC has repeatedly served multinational clients including Engineering Command, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Agency for International Development, and U.S. Department of State. RRCC team of 5,000 highly qualified team members and more than 50 subcontractors have the proven technical expertise and depth of experience to provide its clients with reliable solutions and services; from design to heavy civil and vertical construction, to design-build, operations and maintenance, and warranty management. RRCC has completed more than $400 Million in design- build contracts for the USACE from the 2008 until 2016 in Afghanistan.
From 2012 onwards the owner of Asem Holdings Limited started the international financial investment and international construction steadily westwards with resulting in a very significant presence in the Middle East and Central Asian Countries. The Strategic Associate International Ltd (SAIL), is one of the companies which had been established for the purpose of trading and investment. Initially through its construction unit and further on through oil products and commodities transaction, SAIL Group has successfully traded with international suppliers and partners from Europe to Middle East and Central Asia through the Offices in Kabul, Dubai and Almaty.
In addition to the RRCC- Afghanistan, the Road and Roof Contracting L.L.C (RRCC-International) established in Dubai at 2018 and subsequently Asem Holdings limited as a parent business entity established to cover all activities of all affiliated companies.
Based on the approved license, Asem Holdings limited has authorized to incorporate and/or purchase a stake and/or own another company in whole or own shares in another companies and/or commercial entities in any part of the world and/or own any freehold property which will be accepted by Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority. The core objects of the company are as per bellow:
- International Trading
- Holding investments worldwide
- Holding investments in approved properties in the UAE
- To own & develop any property approved by Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority in UAE or any other part of the world, except as may otherwise be provided by the regulations.
- Holding investments in shares of a Limited Liability Company or Free Zone Company or a Free Zone Establishment in the UAE; and
- Holding investment in companies shares, bonds and debentures equity worldwide
